Women's Brunch

The theme of this Women's brunch was "Fill Me with Hope".... it was awesome!  And I'm not talking about the cupcakes, but rather the message! :)

Nonetheless, a friend asked me to make some mini cupcakes for the event and to keep in theme.... so I copied the branch and berries from the invite.  The cupcakes were lemon and french vanilla minis with Vanilla Whipped frosting, lightly sprayed with yellow food dye, topped with a branch piped with chocolate frosting and blue berries made of fondant.

Princess and the Frog Birthday

Loved the colors!  Very happy.....
These were lemon cupcakes with pastel yellow tinted Vanilla Whipped frosting topped with artificial hydrangea flowers, white sugar pearls and clear plastic frog picks, all nestled in brown tulip liners.

Paul Frank Baby Shower

A challenge I couldn't resist!  A friend sent me a pic of  Paul Frank cupcakes and asked if I could duplicate them.... Ha! But of course..... I think they turned out pretty darn adorable!

The cupcakes were banana flavored too, with fresh bananas mixed in the batter..... so fitting. :)  The Paul Frank monkey is made completely of fondant.... all edible!

Princess Jasmin Birthday Party

Oh what fun this was to make!  The cake is a 6-inch round 2 layer cake covered in fondant and decorated with non-edible jewels.... edible jewels are available, but can be a bit costly, this was a more economical approach .... just need to remind guests not to eat 'em!!! :)  And the perfect topper was a mini snow globe of Jasmin and Raja that the birthday girl could keep as a memento of her special day!

The accompanying cupcakes were topped with Vanilla Whipped frosting tinted in coordinating jewel toned colors and sprinkled with edible gold disco dust.

Build-A-Bear Birthday Party

These mini delights were created for a dear little friend's birthday party at Build-A-Bear.  They were  Dark Chocolate minis with Vanilla Whipped frosting topped with fondant bears shaped with cookie cutters, sugar eyes, fondant daisies with sugar pearls and letters brushed with pink edible disco dust.  Happy Birthday Isabella!

Davey's Graduation from ICEF Vista Elementary

This purple tower of minis was created for my son's 5th grade graduation this past June (the class color was purple) The kids  devoured them immediately after I took this shot!   They were Red Velvet with Cream Cheese frosting and Double Chocolate with Chocolate frosting..... their faves!

Baby Shower- Boy

Oh Baby! These cupackes consisted of double chocolate cake with Vanilla Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting, topped with fondant discs, sugar booties and bibs, bottles and rattles molded with blue tinted white chocolate.... yummm.

Twilight

These Twilight themed cupcakes were a fun birthday treat!  The photo images were non-edible, however they CAN be printed onto rice paper for consumption.... the apples were hand molded out of fondant and colored with edible ink markers.  The cupcakes were Classic Yellow with Vanilla Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting.
